William E “Bill” Arndt

William E “Bill”  Arndt age 77 of Canonsburg, formerly of Chartiers Twp. passed away suddenly, Tuesday April 9, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born April 4, 1947, in Pittsburgh a son of the late Donald and Evelyn Ruth Stevik Arndt. Mr. Arndt lived in the Canonsburg area for the past two years and 32 years in Chartiers Twp. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as an electrical engineer with ANDRITZ Bricmont at Southpointe. Bill enjoyed being a world traveler, who was very much into photography. He was Presbyterian by faith. On October 2, 1971, he married Kathleen Reiland who survives after 52 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his children Cynthia Kathleen (Greg) Williams of Mason Ohio and William Matthew (Aenea) Arndt PhD of Richland California, grandchildren Alex Michael Williams and Natalia Austin Raskin Arndt, his sisters Evelyn Ruth (Michael) Palumbo of Mt. Lebanon and Donna Lee Arndt of Shadyside. Deceased is his sister Sandra Lynn Dineley.

Friends and family are welcome from noon until 1 pm Tuesday April 16, 2024, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/ supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 724-8120 where services will be held at 1 pm with pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
