William A. "Billy" Trainor

Billy Trainor age 46 of Canonsburg, formerly of Upper St. Clair died unexpectedly Tuesday August 28, 2012 in St Clair Memorial Hospital. He was born February 28, 1966 in Pittsburgh a son of Cathleen Hodges Trainor of Upper St. Clair and the late John William Trainor. He lived in Canonsburg since 2004 and prior to that lived in many places around the country. He was employed as a customer service representative for All State Insurance and was a chef who loved to cook.
He was co owner of The PBJ Market CafAC. formerly in Cecil. Billy was a good friend to many people. He prepared chicken noodle soup for an ailing Bruce Springsteen, catered an Easy Rider reunion for Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson and after preparing a full course roast beef dinner for president Bill Clinton and staff, the president preferred to eat one of Billy's hamburgers instead.
On December 21, 2004 he married his best friend Bobbi Collier who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his dog Bandit, his cat Boo, two brothers; John Hodges Trainor and Michael Ralph Trainor both of Pittsburgh, two sisters Mary Pat Trainor of Virginia and Anne Marie Stromberg of Pittsburgh, a sister in law Phylliss (Eddie) Hartman, a brother in law Freddy (Anita Ropele) Collier, his mother and father in law Judy and Fred Collier, his Nana Blanche Hodges, his Gram Sloka, and his nieces and nephews, Eddie, Chelsea, Riley, Collier, Benjamin, Cate, Meghan, Madison, Griff, Natasha and Lydia.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday and from Noon -2pm the time of a Celebration of Billy's Life Gathering in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/Supervisor 304 West Pike St. Canonsburg 724-745-8120. Due to severe allergies please refrain from wearing any perfume or cologne. A very casual picnic will follow directly after the service in Canonsburg's Town Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial's in Billy's name be made to the Washington County Humane Society.
