Wilbur Anthony Koonse

Wilbur Anthony Koonse, 59 of McMurray passed away on September 29, 2016 with his loved ones by his side.

He was born on May 30, 1957 in Canonsburg to Wilbur and Lulubelle O’Bryan Koonse who preceded him in death.

Wilbur graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1975. He then went on to ICM and graduated in 1977. He then moved to Harrisburg where he resided until 2015.

Mr. Koonse was a computer consultant and was a computer business owner as well as a hotel manager.

He enjoyed fishing, doing construction work on his home, going to the casino and spending time with his sons.

He is survived by two sons, Christian Paul Green and Matthew Bryant Green of Harrisburg, a sister Eleanor (Red) Stevens of Canonsburg, a brother Allen (Tina) Koonse of Avella,  his former wife Shirley Koonse of Canonsburg, three stepdaughters, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome from 12-2p.m. the time of services on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120. Interment will follow at Woodruff Memorial Park in Canonsburg.
