Wesley Raymond Delfine age 64 of Canonsburg passed away suddenly, Tuesday October 1, 2024, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital Pittsburgh. He was born January 25, 1960, in Canonsburg a son of the late William R. and Patricia Mae Sopiak Delfine. Wesley lived his life in Canonsburg and was a devoted and active member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1978 and being very interested in computers, earned a degree in computer software from Penn Commercial Business School. In his youth Wes enjoyed the beach, always working on cars, cartoons and working on home improvement projects. He was a child at heart with a joyful spirit and great sense of humor. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved daughters, Angela (David) Mechler of Pittsburgh and Rachel Delfine (Michael Fedorchak) of Jeannette, his dear grandson Harrison Gray Mechler, sisters Julia Elizabeth Krek of Canonsburg and Mary Louise Pascarelli (Mark Kohlhepp) of Cecil, brothers, his identical twin, William S. (Marie) Delfine of Blythe California, Michael P. (Betsy) Delfine of Elkhart, Indiana and Robert T. (Darnella) Delfine of Van Buren Twp. Michigan, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday October 6, 2024, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 9:20 am Monday, October 7, 2024. Liturgy will be held at 10 am in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church East College Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Oak Soring Cemetery. Panahida services will be held at 2pm Sunday in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers Wesley’s family would encourage memorials in his name be made to the St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church Building Fund, for all the support and kindness given them by his parish family.
