Wayne B. Casciola age 75 of Canonsburg passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his home. He was born June 14, 1939 in Canonsburg a son of the late Nardo and Bruna DeMicheli Casciola. Mr. Casciola was a graduate of Cecil High School class of 1957 and lived in the Muse and Canonsburg area his entire life. He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was in sales for most of his career with Bristol-Myers Squibb and had presently been with B and B Supply Co. in Bridgeville. In his youth he had been the youngest officer of the Muse Independent Club. A very hard worker, Mr. Casciola was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who was also an avid sports fan.
On August 31, 1963 he married the love of his life, Carrie Lesniakowski, who survives and with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage. Also surviving are this three beloved children; Randy (Cheryl) Casciola of Pittsburgh, Colleen (George Jr.) Labishak of Houston and Amy (Sean) Walters of McMurray, his loving granddson Christopher Labishak of Houston, his mother in law Stella Lesniakowski of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 6-8pm Monday and from 2-8pm Tuesday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb LFD 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, where departing prayers will be recited at 10:30 am Wednesday September 17, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Wednesday in St. Patrick R.C. Church. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
