Warren Daniel Huffman, Sr., age 86, formerly of Washington, Pa., died Sunday, September 25, 2011.
He was born September 1, 1925 in Waynesburg, the son of the late Forney J. and Violet Boyd Huffman.
Mr. Huffman served with the Untied States Army from 1945 to 1947; he was a member of American Legion Post 175 of Washington.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years, Edith Szolek Huffman, four sons, Warren Daniel (Mona) Huffman, Jr.; Darrell J. Huffman, Duane K. (Pam) Huffman, David M. (Jennifer) Huffman; five grandchildren, Michael, Christy, Carter, Wesley and Boris Huffman, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty DeJohn and Joann Reihner, two brothers, Richard and Forney L. Huffman and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased also besides parents are one sister and several brothers.
Friends are welcome from 11 to noon the time of Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Patrick Church Canonsburg. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Full military rites will be accorded by the combined honor guard of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg and American Legion Post 902 of Houston.
