Victoria L. Stankowski Geray, 74, of Houston, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 1:30 PM in the Canonsburg Hospital.
She was born March 23, 1935 in Hendersonville a daughter of the late John and Margaret Wilk Stankowski.
Mrs. Geray was Roman Catholic.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Geray was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, and she enjoyed word search puzzles.
On August 6, 1969 she married Andrew Geray who died May 12, 2000.
Surviving is a son Andrew Geray of Houston, four daughters Corrine (John) Spadaro of Canonsburg, Victoria (Ray) Hagerman of Houston, Dana (Kevin) Vossen of Sarnia, Onterio Canada and Paula (Don) Brown of Memphis, Michigan. Four brothers, Henry Stankowski of Bridgeville, Alex Stankowski of Hendersonville, Edward Stankowski of Cheswick and Walter Stankowski of Hendersonville. Eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, John, Joseph and George Stankowski and two sisters, Sophie Winseck and Anne Stevenson.
Friends are welcome in the Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, Supervisor/Owner, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg on Monday, June 15, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at which time the funeral service will take place with the Rev. Eric Powell officiating. Burial will be private.
