Thomas M. Pizzuti age 65 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully at 12:30 am Sunday  January 3, 2021 in his home with his family by his side. He was born February 4, 1955 in Monaca a son of the late John and Rose Guantonio Pizzuti. Mr. Pizzuti was a graduate of Monaca High School, attended the Penn State University for three years and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 1980. He lived the past 39 years in Canonsburg and had been a member of the St. Patrick worship sit of St. Oscar Romero Parish. Mr. Pizzuti had been President and Director of Operations for his company Aero National Inc, based at the Washington county airport from 2007 until 2019. He had been employed with Zinc Corporation, the worlds largest producer of zinc products, in Monaca from 1979 until 2009. Tom was an avid aviator who flew privately and professionally from light single engine to business jets and was an ATP and a certified A & E Aircraft Mechanic. Tom built a Glasair I and Glasair III airplane and completed construction of two high performance experimental aircrafts. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Aircraft Owners Pilots Association. Tom loved being with his grandson was an avid skier, scuba diver and enjoyed boating at his home in Key Largo Florida. On June 20, 1981 he married his devoted partner and wife Michele A. Soski who survives after 39 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children Anthony Pizzuti and his wife Katrina of Canonsburg, his daughter Katie Bryan and her husband Jerry of Brentwood, a grandson Anthony Kenyon Pizzuti, brother John (Denise) Pizzuti of Broadview Heights Ohio, sisters Toni (George) Haller and Terri Burnett both of Monaca, brother-in-law Jack Patterson of Monaca and several nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is his sister Rosemarie Patterson.

At Mr. Pizzuti’s request and due to the COVID-19 pandemic private family visitation and Catholic Blessing Services are entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
