Theresa Severine Harker age 78 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully at 8:25am Friday December 12, 2014 in Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon following and extended illness.
She was born March 4, 1936 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Luigi and Philomena Easter Severine. Mrs. Harker lived her entire life in Canonsburg where she was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. She was a 1954 graduate of Canonsburg High School and prior to her retirement had been employed as a meat wrapper for 42 years with Giant Eagle.
On September 16, 1958 she married John "Brick" Harker who survives. Also surviving is a sister in law Altabella Severine and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The Last of her immediate family, deceased in addition to her parents is a sister, Marie Severine Casassa and two brothers; John "Bull" Severine and Calinst "Kelly" Severine.
Friends are welcome from 2-8pm Monday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb, funeral Director 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at 9am Tuesday December 16, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 am in St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp., at 11:00 AM.
