Theresa Leona Nuccetelli Aggers, 88, of Houston, passed away at 5:10 AM Monday, May 25, 2015 in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was one of eight children born on September 4, 1926 to the late Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Armstrong Dobbin.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife who always put her family first. Mrs. Aggers was a homemaker who lived most of her life in the Canonsburg and Houston areas. She took great pride in her culinary skills and was an excellent cook and baker. She loved socializing, playing cards, bingo, traveling, and always, most important, being with her family. She had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and her faith and values were always evident within her life.
She is survived by her husband, William Aggers, whom she married May 26, 1990; her son, James R. (Kathy) Nuccetelli of Summerfield, Florida and her daughter, Linda L. (Donald) Benedetti of Copley, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Diane (James) Anderson of Industry; three stepsons, Kenny (Robin) Aggers of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Keith (Doris) Aggers of Burgettstown and Joe (Gail) Aggers of McDonald; the loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren; Danielle (Fred) Waters, Steven (Jessica) Benedetti & Matthew Benedetti, Jennifer (Juan) Soloranzo, and Jeffrey (Aska) Nuccetelli; 8 great grandchildren; Ryan & Adam Waters, Victoria & Luke Benedetti & Amber, Ashley, Meghan & Hannah Soloranzo.
Deceased are her three brothers, Frank, Thomas and Robert Dobbin and four sisters, Mary Jane Coburn, Agnes Livolsi, Catherine Barringer, and Elizabeth Weippert.
Friends are welcome from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon, the time of a Catholic Blessing service, on Friday May 29, 2015 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb funeral director, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 . Private interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
