Tessie Rossit, 96 of Canonsburg, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Donnell House, Washington.
She was born October 16, 1912 in Canonsburg the daughter of Anthony and Josephine Baluta Rossit.
Miss Rossit was Roman Catholic.
She spent her entire life in the Canonsburg area.
Miss Rossit was a nursing aid at the Thomas Nursing Home in Canonsburg, for 12 years.
She was a member of Canonsburg Senior Citizens.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are brother, Walter Rossit and half brother, Anthony Rossit; two sisters, Josephine Wheeler and Frances Simpson and half sister Mildred Heiser.
Miss Rossit was the last of her immediate family.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday, March 17, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
