Tania Maria Emerciano De Medeiros (Phillips) Passed peacefully at Hempfield Manor Nursing Home, Greensburg PA, Tuesday morning, September 17, 2024 Tania was born in Rio De Janeiro 1940, resided in Natal, Brazil. She came to the United States due to a love story forever told. She met an American Soldier and fell in love. She resided in Canonsburg Pa most of her life. Tania will be remembered as a very fun, unique woman. Whoever knew her, was never in doubt that she was a loud and proud Brazilian Woman. She was a member of the American Legion Post 902, Moose Lodge 22 which she called her place of friendships. She loved reminiscing on the memories. Tania worked and retired from McMurray Hills Manor after 30 years. She passionately loved the residents. She enjoyed bragging about her kids, showing old pictures of her old self, plants, shopping and mostly just being around her family. Tania is survived by her son Robert E. Phillips Jr, daughter Stephanie Kauffman son in-law John, daughter Jennifer Timpy and 6 grandchildren, Rylan Kauffman, Landon Kauffman, Alex Timpy, Addyson Kauffman, Bryttnee Kauffman and Zélia Timpy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Saturday, September 21, 2024, in St. Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg.
