Stella Ross age 91 of Houston went to be with the Lord Sunday June 26, 2011 in her home, following an extended illness.
She was born December 27, 1919 in McDonald, a daughter of the late Alexander and Eva Pukas Kohkoski.
Mrs. Ross lived most of her life in Houston and Midland and was a member of Harvestime Ministries. She enjoyed time with her family and was an avid bingo player. Prior to her retirement she had been employed for many years as a cook at both Congie's Restaurant and Kelly's Pub.
On November 2, 1935 she married Ernest B. (Bab) Ross who died April 25, 1998. Surviving is her daughter in law Gloria Ross with whom she made her home, five grandchildren, fourteen great grand children, seven great, great grandchildren, two great, great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family of ten siblings. Deceased in addition to her husband are three sons, Guy, Ernest and Michael Wayne Ross.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday and 10:30am-noon Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P.
