Stella A. Grohal age 93 of Canonsburg, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 1:00 AM in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born January 27, 1916 in Canonsburg the daughter of Albert and Helen Szalanski Wasieleski.
Mrs. Grohal attended Trinity High School.
She worked as a factory worker for the former RCA.
On September 17, 1938 she married John M. Grohal, who died on February 9, 2008.
Surviving are daughter, Iris " Lori" (Alan) Michalski of Canonsburg; granddaughter, Susan Sarver; grandson, Skip (Sally) Michalski; three great-grandchildren, D.J. Michalski, Dylan and Kira Sarver, brother, John Wasieleski of Cambridge, Oh.
Deceased are two sisters, Stephanie Sullivan, Martha Lesniakowski and one brother, Edward Wasieleski.
Friends are welcome on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 2:00 to 4: 00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Canonsburg.
