Sara C. Striner

Sara C. Striner age 83 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 6, 2019 in Donnell House, Washington following a brief illness. She was born December 5, 1935 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Conner Cass. Sara was protestant by faith and prior to her retirement she had been employed for 20 years as a telephone operator with AT&T in Florida. She lived in Florida from 1965 until 1991 when she returned to the area and was a member of SNPJ Lodge 6. Her husband Anthony Striner Jr. passed away October 7, 1984. Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons Anthony Joseph Striner and his wife Leigh of Merritt Island Florida, John Michael Striner and his wife Renee of Leesburg Virginia and Matthew Alan Striner (Paula) of Stow Ohio, her daughter Mary Ann and her husband Roger “Burt” Page of Viera Florida, two sisters Rebecca Fehl of McDonald and Marie Ullom of Hickory, a brother Raymond “Buzz” Cass and his wife Janet of Trinity Florida, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are several brothers and sisters.

At Sara’s request there will be no public visitation. A private family time and celebration of her life will take place in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
