Sara M. Milligan

Sara M. Milligan age 93 of Washington formerly of Westland passed away Sunday March 17, 2013 in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home in Washington. She was born February 12, 1920 in Sturgeon a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Fenwick Milligan. Mrs. Milligan lived most of her life in Westland and was Presbyterian by faith. Prior to her retirement she had been employed for many years as office manager of the former Washington Grocers Association. A member of the Eastern Star, Mrs. Milligan was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and playing the piano. She is survived by her granddaughter Alice M. (Mitchell) Wimert of Washington, three great grandchildren; Zachary, Joshua and Emily Wimert, two brothers; Thomas R. Milligan of Washington and William T. Milligan of the State of Texas, her son in law Richard Herceg of West land and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her daughter Donna (Darlene) Herceg who died October 26, 2011, her brother Samuel Robert Milligan who died March 11, 1993 and her husband William Lewis who died in action during World War II.
