Ruth Kapustynski age 82 of Canonsburg, died Friday, September 09, 2011 in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1929, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Maurine Aiken Webb.
Mrs. Kapustynski served with the United States Marines Corp. during Korean War.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Canonsburg, where she lived the last 50 years.
Mrs. Kapustynski was a devoted house wife, mother and grandmother; she was also enjoyed spending time with her loving cat, enjoyed gardening and was an avid Steelers's fan.
On October 28, 1963 she married Pete Kapustynski, who died on August 18, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Candi Dicks of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Leslee Ann Kapustynski of Canonsburg; two sons, Peter C. Kapustynski of Pittsburgh, Kevin J. Kapustynski of Canonsburg; granddaughter, Kristina Yard and four great-grandchildren.
Friends are welcome on Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc.; Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where Blessing Service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Canonsburg. Interment will follow at Chartiers Hill Cemetery, Canonsburg. Full Military Rites will be accorded by the combined honor guard of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg and American Legion Post 902 of Houston
