Roxanne “Rocky” George Nestor

Roxanne “Rocky” George Nestor age 69 of Muse passed away peacefully Tuesday October 15, 2024, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born on December 10, 1954, in Canonsburg a daughter of the late David “Dahude” Elias and Gladys Mae George. Roxanne lived her life in Muse and was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, class of 1973. She was a faithful member of South Canonsburg Church. Roxanne was kind to everyone and loved the Lord. Prior to her retirement Rocky was employed as an Emergency Room Technician at St. Clair Hospital for 41 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was especially known for her barbequed meatballs. On November 5, 1978, she married Willam Nestor who survives after 45 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Jerrod Nestor (Keely Polinsky) and Adina Nestor, grandsons, Kaleb Nestor and Xander “Zippy” Nestor (Montana Grimm), her brothers, David D. George, and Patrick (Gail P.) George, her sister Heidi Ann (Mark) Delsignore, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind her two grand puppies Sassy and Rocky. 

Friends and family are welcome from 2- 4 and 6-8 pm Friday October 18, 2024, at SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 745-8120, where services will be held at 1 o’clock pm Saturday October 19, 2024 with Pastor Steve Parkhill officiating.
