Ronald Eugene (Gene) Nottingham age 67 of Canonsburg, formerly of Houston and the Pittsburgh area died Saturday July 10, 2010 in Monitfiore Hospital Pittsburgh. He was born November 23, 1942 in Sharon, Mercer County a son of the late Clinton George Jr. and Margaret Beatty Nottingham.
Mr. Nottingham had been employed for 20 years as an insurance agent with Nationwide Insurance. He was last self- employed as an Independent sales broker at Nottingham and Associates Insurance Agency and had been a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Area Chamber of Commerce.
On August 31, 1963 he married Nancy Cashdollar who survives. Also surviving are two son's Scott E. Nottingham of Canonsburg, Dave E. Nottingham of Bridgeville, a brother Clinton George Nottingham Jr. of Sharon, three grandchildren, David Jr., Madeline and Joey Nottingham, several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother Robert Edward Nottingham and a sister Lois Ann Abbey.
