Ronald D. Deliere, 79, of Bishop passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, April 4, 2015 following an extended illness.
He was born on July 1, 1935 in Cecil, a son of the late Harry M. and Lillian Montagna Deliere.
Mr. Deliere lived his entire life in Bishop and was a 1953 graduate of Cecil High School. He worked in construction and at several mills in his youth until he formed his own construction business. He and his son Dale were partners in R and D Construction for many years. Mr. Deliere enjoyed life and especially spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, traveler, who enjoyed sports and country dances with his beloved wife.
On July 1, 1955 he married Margaret Antoinette "Toni" Binotto, who survives. Also surviving are his two sons, R. Dale (Susanne) Deliere of Washington and Chad Alan (Debra) Deliere of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Eric, Amanda, Erin, and Nathan Deliere, Samantha (Wesley) Matrey, and Dana Allender; one nephew, Harry M. "Buzzy" Deliere; and two great nephews, Harry M. and Michael Deliere, all of Village, OK. Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Harry "Bud" Deliere and a nephew, Darrell "Toby" Deliere. Mr. Deliere was the last of his immediate family.
Friends are welcome from 2-8 PM Monday, April 6, 2015 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra Owner/Supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Private interment will follow.
