Roman A. Impiccini age 82 of Washington passed away peacefully
Monday January 12, 2015 in Canonsburg General Hospital following and extended battle with COPD, with his loving wife and son by his side. He was born March 14, 1932 in Vestaburg (Mexico) a son of the late Joseph and Lena Roncadori Impiccini. Mr. Impiccini lived most of his life in the Canonsburg, Houston areas and in Washington for the passed 22 years. He served with the United States Air Force as an Airman 1st Class in the 53rd Squadron (MATS) and the Pentagon Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. He was a self employed barber who owned ROMAN'S BARBERSHOP in Houston for over 45 years. His slogan was "We need your head to get ahead". Mr. Impiccini was an accomplished Jazz musician as an organist known as Roman Anthony playing at such venues as the Twin Coaches and the Tonidale. He was also and organist with the group Weekend Edition. A member of the Arms Club in Washington, he had been recognized as a 40 year member of the American Legion in both Houston post 902 and Washington post 175. Mr. Impiccini was Catholic.
On August 31, 1957 he married Bernadette Vojtush who survives. Also surviving are his son Vincent Impiccini of Brownsville, a sister Elizabeth Kimtantas of Clarksville and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is a son Phillip Impiccini who passed away June 5, 2005, two sisters; Dolores Miller and Rose Chambers and five brothers; Gasper "Gus", Joseph Jr., James, Mario and Quinto Impiccini.

where services will be held at 11am Saturday January 17, 2015 with full military rites by the VFW post 191 Honor Guard. Private interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.
