Roger W. Haggerty, Jr.; age 52 of Canonsburg (Hendersonville) passed away due to injuries sustained from motorcycle accident Saturday, June 28, 2014.
He was born on December 30, 1961 in Canonsburg the son of Roger W. and Betty Kebart Haggerty, Sr. of Hendersonville, who both survive.
Roger lived his entire life in Hendersonville. He was catholic by faith and was a social member of the VFW Post 8308 of Lawrence. He was a cabinet maker for Allegheny Millwork. Roger enjoyed riding his motorcycle especially with the HOG'S. Roger also enjoyed and helped support the Little Mac's football program. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
On July 1, 1988 he married his beloved wife, Cara Clegg who survives and was going to celebrate their 26th anniversary. Also surviving are three daughters, Karabeth (Kevin) Kulikowski of Bethel Park, Samantha N. (fiancAC.-Colton Segelken) Haggerty and Shannon Rae Haggerty both of Hendersonville, two sons, Roger W. (fiancAC.- Brittany Tinney) Haggerty III and Camden S. Haggerty both of Hendersonville, two grandchildren, Bently and Arianna Haggerty, three sisters, Mary (Alby) Dami of Hendersonville, Kathy (Mark) Lewis of Bridgeville and Joni (Paul) Hunter of Henderson, NV.; one brother, Randy Haggerty of Mich.; and also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends are welcome on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Rebecca Baird Lepley officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray.
