Robert W. "Bob" Deiseroth,Sr.

Robert W. "Bob" Deiseroth, Sr. age 91 of Hickory, died Monday, September 27, 2010 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born December 31, 1918 in Mt. Oliver, Pittsburgh; the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Deiseroth.
Mr. Deiseroth was Catholic by faith and lived most of his life in Hickory.
He was self employed farmer, who owned and operated the Tally-Ho Stables in South Park and Hickory Ridge Farm in Hickory. He also raised quarter horses which he was most famous for "Hickory Dodger" and was a life member of American Quarter Horse Association.
On April 13, 1940 he married his wife of 69 years, Hazel Williams, who survives.
Also surviving are son, Robert W. "Bob" Deiseroth, Jr. and wife Susan McDargh-Deiseroth of Hickory; three granddaughters, Sherri Recker, Tracey Porter and Kelly Fisher; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends are welcome on Wednesday , September 29, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM the time of the Blessing Service at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc.; Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
