Robert “Pickles” Spiller, Jr. 63 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Canonsburg Hospital.
He was born on September 30, 1955 in Canonsburg to Robert Spiller, Sr., and Ruth Hilderbrand Spiller who preceded him in death.
On September 18, 2004 he married Patricia Raspet who survives.
Mr. Spiller was a floral designer for many years at various floral shops in the area. He had many hobbies and interests including coaching Little League teams, going to the mountains, fishing , spending time with his family and large circle of friends and especially his best bud, Jasper.
He was known as a great cook and a big Steeler fan. His passion was wrestling and he was a scorekeeper for many, many tournaments over the years at numerous wrestling matches in the area.
Robert belonged to many clubs including the American Legion in Houston, the Raccoon Valley Sportsman Association and the Houston Independent Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Cara N. Spiller of Georgia, his sister Cindy J. Blough of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Peggy L. Creggar.
Friends are welcome from 2~4pm and 6~8 pm. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 3204 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Interment in Forest Lawn Gardens will be private.
