Roberta K.” Bert” Gostic age 67 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Tuesday August 30, 2022, in North Strabane Rehabilitation & Wellness Center. She was born May 5, 1955, in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Robert and Mary L. Davis Harper. Roberta lived most of her life in Canonsburg where she was a 1974 graduate of Canons-McMillan Sr High School and had been a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Hickory. She had been employed at All Clad Metals, the Ramada Inn, the Hollywood Barbeque and Sherwood Nursery and Greenhouse for many years. Bert enjoyed bingo, shopping, eating out, watching the Steelers, and camping. She loved animals and was a fan of Ft. Cherry High School Football. On June 3, 1978, she married David Gostic who survives after 44 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her two beloved sons, David M. Gostic Jr. of Pittsburgh, and Robert S. Gostic of Canonsburg, her three sisters Sherry Frye (Dave Staley), Linda Staley and Mary Mohler and her husband Arthur all off Washington and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is her sister Nancy Taylor. Friends and family are welcome from 2pm until 7 pm Friday, September 2, 2022, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg where services will be held at 10 am Saturday September 3, 2022. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
