Robert "Bob" Strnisha age 71 of Canonsburg died Friday, February 26, 2010 in Canonsburg General Hospital.
He was born on December 13, 1938, in Lincoln Hill, Pa.; the son of Veronica Urban Strnisha and the late Vincent Strnisha, Sr.
Mr. Strnisha worked for 23 years in maintenance for the former RCA, than retiring as a finished carpenter for Washington County.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Strnisha enjoyed wood working, feeding and watching the wild turkey and deer in his back yard.
On July 16, 1966 he married of 43 years, Catherine Bartnick, who survives.
Also surviving are daughter, Beth (Robert) Crouch of Chartiers Twp.; two sons, Robert J. (Susan) Strnisha of North Strabane Twp.; Michael J. (Lisa) Strnisha of Canonsburg; eight grandchildren, Maria, Anna, Robbie, Sophia, Rachel, Matthew Strnisha and Bobby and Katie Crouch, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are sister, Helen Palombi and two brothers, Vincent, Jr. and James Strnisha.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Noon. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, Canonsburg. Family suggest in lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Robert.
