Robert E. Pecharka

Robert E. Pecharka age 59 of Canonsburg, North Strabane Twp., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 23, 2013 in his home. He was May 9, 1954 born in Canonsburg a son of the late George J. and Ruth J. Nestor Pecharka Sr. He lived in the Canonsburg area his entire life and was Catholic. Mr. Pecharka was a machinist for Hallmore Machine in Bethel Park. He had been a member of the AGA, Slovak Club and Jednota and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Surviving are two sons; Robert E. Pecharka Jr. and Thomas George Pecharka (Alyssa Schillo) both of Canonsburg, two stepsons; Brian (Angel) Krenzelak of Eighty-Four and Michael Krenzelak of McKees Rocks.
Also surviving are six brothers; George J. (Janet) Pecharka Jr. of Meadowlands, John Pecharka of Houston, David (Kathy) Pecharka of Robinson Twp., Richard Pecharka of Canonsburg, Christopher (Tracy) Pecharka of Dana Point California and Joseph (Carolyn) Pecharka of San Juan Capistrano, California and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday October 25, 2013 in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. Services will be held at 7:30 pm Friday in the funeral home.
