Raymond J. "Ray" Rich

Raymond J. “Ray” Rich, 55, of Eighty Four passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 24, 2015 in the Washington Hospital.

He was born on October 17, 1959 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Robert Charles and Sara Jane Tallerico Rich.

Ray was a long time resident of Brookline prior to relocating to Eighty Four nearly 20 years ago.  He enjoyed sports, spending time outdoors, and hunting.

On September 27, 1986 he married his beloved wife, Debra Zeiler Rich, who survives.

Also surviving are his four loving sons, Robert Rich of Bethel Park, and Anthony (Maura Majcher), Justin, and Tyler Rich, all of Eighty Four; a precious granddaughter, Addison Rich of Bethel Park; and a brother, Robert L. (Debbie Roth) Rich of Squirrel Hill.

Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2015 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a Catholic Blessing Service will begin at 4:00 PM Thursday with Rev. Richard J. Tusky of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Finleyville as Celebrant.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in honor of Ray’s son Tyler to Allegheny Valley School, 1996 Ewings Mill Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
