Phillip Joseph “Philo” LiPari age 77 of Houston passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Canonsburg Hospital. He was born May 29, 1944 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Samuel and Angelina Distefeno LiPari.
Phillip was a musician and composer for BMI and Decca Records, known by the name as Philo Perry. In later years, after retiring he worked as a property owner and landlord. Philly, as known by most of his friends enjoyed playing guitar, singing and writing music. He also enjoyed cars and riding motorcycles. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his son Victor LiPari of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Lisa (Dennis) Cooper of Burgettstown and Janet (Dan) Castellino of Burgettstown; step sons Michael Rozanc of Houston and Jimmy Mahich of Canonsburg and step-daughter Melissa Rozanc of Houston. Deceased in addition to his parents are his daughter Tina; brothers Victor Frank LiPari and Samuel LiPari and sister Angie Clark.
