Patrick A. Marks, formerly of Canonsburg, PA, passed away on April 13, 2015, in Homestead, FL. He was born August 4, 1945, the son of Guy and Edith Mark. Patrick was a 1963 graduate of Canon-McMillan Senior High School and a graduate of St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. He loved sports and was a devoted follower of the Pittsburgh Steelers, even when they were losing. He enjoyed talking to people, old or young, and was comfortable discussing any subject whether simple or complex. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. For the past thirteen years, he was a resident of the Homestead Manor Assisted Living Facility where he enjoyed independence, mealtime, and many social activities. He was lovingly cared for by all of the employees. Patrick is survived by his beloved family: a sister, Leah Heckert; nephew, John (Donna) Heckert and children; niece, Jayne (John) Bennett and children; aunt, Helen DuCarme; uncle, Irwin Westphal; and many cousins. At the request of the deceased, services and inurnment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg will be private.
