Nick Joseph Bell,age 77 of Canonsburg died unexpectedly Sunday, July 8, 2012 in his home. He was born September 18, 1935 in Canonsburg a son of the late Nick Bell Sr. and Mary J. Harden Bell Spencer. Mr. Bell lived his entire life in Canonsburg. At the age of 19 he became disabled while serving in the United States Marine Corp. His hobby was building and collecting model cars.
Surviving are three brothers; Edward (Pricilla) Bell, with whom he made his home, James Spencer of Cecil Township, and Walter (Joyce) Spencer of Canonsburg, two sisters Diane Knestrick of Florida and Mary Iskey of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers Frank and Joseph Spencer.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation and services. Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
