Nardo Casciola

Nardo Casciola age 99 of Muse died Saturday January 2, 2010 in Golden Living Center of South Hills He was born June 20, 1910 in L'Aquila, Italy a son of James and Anna DiGiovani Casciola.
Mr. Casciola was Catholic and lived most of his life in Muse. He had been employed at the H.C. Frick Coal company in Muse and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Prior to his retirement He was in ramp service with the former TWA now American Airlines.
On July 1, 1933 he married Bruna DiGiovanni who survives after 76 years of marriage. Also surviving are a son Wayne (Carrie) Casciola of Canonsburg, three grandchildren, Randy (Cheryl) Casciola, Colleen Labishak and Amy (Fianc, Sean Walters) Casciola, a grandson Christopher Labishak and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Casciola was the last of his immediate family. Deceased are three brothers, Hugo and James Casciola and Perrino Casciola, who died in infancy, and a sister Mary Budzik.
Friends are welcome from 4-8pm Sunday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg where a blessing service will be held at noon Monday January 4, 2010. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville.
