Molly J. Fisher age 88 of Canonsburg died Saturday January 2, 2010 in Marion Manor, Greentree. She was born October 24, 1921 in Treveskyn a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Rygiel Fisher. She lived in Canonsburg most of her life where she was a member of St. Patrick church.
Miss Fisher had been employed at the former Continental Can Company and prior to her retirement in 1983 she had been the Meat Department manager at Foodland in Canonsburg. She was the last of her immediate family, survived by several nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Edward, Anthony and Stanley Fisher, and two sisters Irene N. Katrencik and Anne Fisher who died in infancy.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing service will be held at 10 am Tuesday January 5, 2010. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.
