Mildred Stewart Cafaro age 85 of Canonsburg, formerly of Scott Township, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in the Donnell House, Washington.
She was born in Philipsburg, Pa.; on December 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Chomyak Slavik.
Mrs. Cafaro was a devoted housewife, enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and painting. She also liked growing flowers, plants sewing and often listened to music.
Mrs. Cafaro lived most of her life in Scott Township but for the past 11 years in Canonsburg.
Surviving are son, James (Roxann) Stewart of Palm Beach, Florida; daughter, Anna (Tom) Senay of Canonsburg; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her first husband Kenneth G. Stewart, second husband, Stephen Cafaro ; four sisters and three brothers.
Friends are welcome on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, Pa.; 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gene Madia officiating. Interment will follow in Chartiers Cemetery, Carnegie.
