Mary Jane “M J” Hordies age 63 of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 29, 2024, in Washington Hospital. She was born October 1, 1960, in Washington a daughter of the late Donald C. “Fats” Hordies and Elizabeth “Bette” Jean Sala Lemon. Mary Jane lived her life in the Washington area and was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School class of 1978. She had been a caretaker of horses for 44 years at various stables, the last being with Norm Parker. Jane was an avid hockey fan who enjoyed music, especially the Foo Fighters, and love to spend time with her son and family. Left behind to cherish her memory is her beloved son Adam Hordies (Emily Stiffler) of Washington, her daughter Amanda Dailey of Washington, her sister Marcy Hordies with whom she made her home, three grandchildren Corey, Zach and Mia and several cousins. Deceased in addition to her parents is her sister Kimberly Jean Hordies who passed away Saturday February 26, 2005.

Friends and family are welcome from 2 until 8 pm Sunday, May 5, 2024, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P.
