Mary Ruth Rubis age 81 of Washington formerly of Canonsburg, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Washington Hospital. She was born December 3, 1929 in Clinchco, Dickenson County, Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Virginia Belcher Skeens.
Mrs. Rubis was a Methodist and had been employed as an interior designer prior to her retirement. She had lived in Canonsburg for 47 years.
On June 23, 1951 she married Mesdeo (Spider) Rubis who died July 9, 2006. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Delaney of Washington and Angela Borrelli of Virginia Beach, VA. and son, Jeffrey Rubis of Palm Springs, Californina, two brothers Virlin Skeens of Camden, Deleware and Walker Skeens of Elizabethtown, Kentucky four grand children, four great grand children and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers James and Foster Skeens.
