Mary E. Polansky age 95 of Canonsburg died Monday, July 6, 2009 in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born August 1, 1913 in Donora, the daughter of Milo and Elizabeth Kosanovich.
Mrs. Polansky was a devote homemaker, wife and mother.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church, there Christian Mothers and Women's Guild and Catholic Daughters of the America's Court of Canonsburg 1211
On June 28, 1936 she married Frank T. Polansky, who died on June 1, 1992.
Surviving are daughter, Rita C. Polansky, with whom she made her home with, of Canonsburg; niece and nephew Jessie and Paul Spilak and several other nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one sister Mildred Nescott and two brothers, Ralph and Vladimir Kosanovich. She was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg, where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
