Mary Lou Pedeski age 70 of Muse, died on Friday, November 14, 2008, at 10:07 pm in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on April 15, 1938, in Canonsburg, daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Steiner Pedeski.
Mary Lou graduated from Canonsburg High School class of 1957.
She worked at Kaufman's Department store for 44 years before her retirement.
Mary Lou was a member of St. Patrick Church, a 50 year member of S.N.P.J. lodge #138, a member of the Eagles of Canonsburg, an officer and member of the Ladies auxiliary of Muse Fire Department and a member of the button box with Bengey Rathbone.
She made her home with her cousins William and Veronica Nestor and with Caleb Nestor, who survives.
She lived most of her life in Canonsburg.
Mary Lou was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724-745-8120) where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
