Mary M. Ianarelli age 91 of Canonsburg, died Tuesday October 19, 2010 in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born February 17, 1919 in Morgan, Pa.; the daughter of the late Alberico and Mattia Bruno Leonardi.
Mrs. Ianarelli lived her entire life in Muse and Canonsburg and was a 1939 graduate of Cecil High School.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Christian Mothers and Guild, Catholic Daughters of the America's court Canonsburg 1211 and the Muse Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Ianarelli was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and was a talented seamstress.
On November 10, 1941 she married Robert J. Ianarelli, who died on August 26, 1986.
Surviving are son, Robert J. (Jean) Ianarelli, Jr.; of Norwich, CT.; daughter, Marilu (Tom) Caton of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Thomas and Michelle Caton, Robert C. (Deborah) Ianarelli and Monica Ianarelli, two step granddaughters, Julie Stone and Rhonda Renosky, three great-granddaughters, two step great granddaughters, three sisters, Rose Cardinale of Conway, Pa.; Lena Nackoul and Clara Rozanc both of Canonsburg; and brother, Harry Leonardi of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday, October 22, 2010 in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held at 9am Saturday, October 23, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am in St. Patrick Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
