Martha Louise Oakman Kebart, 77, of Canonsburg passed away on Thursday, August 07, 2014 in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
She was born on February 27, 1937 in Washington, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Malik Oakman.
She enjoyed the casinos, traveling, and her tv shows. She especially loved watching Pierce Brosnan movies. Above all, Martha loved spending time with her family and her grandsons.
Martha was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish in Canonsburg and was a past member of St. Genevieve's and their Orchard Lake organization.
After 10 devoted years of service, Martha retired from Chase Manhattan Bank in 2002. Prior to her retirement, she had worked in the Immaculate Conception Rectory, Sears, Mellon Bank, and Collections Service Center in Washington.
Surviving are her beloved children, Patricia (William) Polosky of Canonsburg, Charles (Susan) Kebart of Woodbridge, VA, and Joseph (LeaAnn) Kebart of Largo, FL; grandsons, Ryan (Brian Meehan) Kaczmarek of Morgantown and Michael Jeniskis of Canonsburg; sisters, Margaret McWreath of Washington, Marjene (the late Thomas) Horan of Plant City, FL, and Marie (Edwin) Capenos of Washington; her uncle, William (Helen) Sams of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 4:00 " 8:00 PM in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra Owner/Supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will begin at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
