Marion J. "Monny" Jendrczak age 89 of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in HCR Manor Care, McMurray.
He was born May 7, 1920 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of the late Michael and Marie Balszchak Jendrczak.
Mr. Jendrczak graduated from Suffern High School in New York.
He served during World War II with the Army Air Force as an aerial engineer/ air crew, flying in 347 missions over Burma-China. At time of discharge he was Technical Sergeant with 3rd CC squadron 1st CC group and received Air Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross and Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Jendrczak retired from Verizon as a teletype repair men.
He lived most of his life in New York and for the last 26 years in Canonsburg where he was a member of St. Patrick Church and the American Legion Post 902 of Houston.
Monny enjoyed farming, hunting, trapping and fishing. He was a Harley and Indian enthusiast building, repairing and riding these motorcycles. Monny was known as the handy man.
On July 10, 1948, he married Lillian Suleski, who died on August 26, 2007.
Surviving are one son, Christopher Jendrczak of Newburgh, N.Y.; two granddaughters, Casey Pascarella and Loren Jendrczak and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Janette Deborr.

Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville
