Marie C. Dupesko age 78 of Canonsburg, went home to her heavenly Father on Friday July 30, 2010 in Town View Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born January 1, 1932 in S'Demetrio, Italy (providence of L'aquila), the daughter of the late Umberto and Angelatonia Visca Battistone.
Mrs. Dupesko came to Canonsburg when she was sixteen years old. Where she worked for Continental Can, the former RCA, for 30 years Brody's Furniture Store and was a devoted homemaker.
She was a member of Central Assembly of God Church in Houston for 25 years and lived most of her life in Canonsburg.
Mrs. Dupesko loved to read her bible, going to church, made a loving home for her family. She was a very loving and appreciative person and enjoyed knitting.
On November 7, 1953 she married John Dupesko who survives.
Also surviving are son, John A. Dupesko of St. Martinsville, Louisiana, daughter, Tina (David) DiTullio of Canonsburg; Three grandchildren, David (Ricki), Matthew and Autumn DiTullio, one great-granddaughter, Natalie DiTullio and one expecting great-grandchild, sister Josephine Battistone of Canonsburg.
Friends are welcome on Saturday July 31, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Sunday August 1, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Don O'Hare of Central Assembly of God Church,. Entombment will follow at Woodruff Memorial Park, Canonsburg.
