Marian Rozanc age 70, of Houston, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born on December 11, 1940 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Mary Subrick Zadik.
Mrs. Rozanc lived most of her life in Houston, where she work for and retired from Houston News as a clerk.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoyed watching, supporting and cheering on her children and grandchildren in their sporting events and watching sports on T.V.
On November 26, 1960 she married Joseph L. Rozanc, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mary Ann Rozanc (Chadwick); Theresa (Chad) Schneider; both of Canonsburg; Carole (Scott Tomsic) Rozanc of Houston; two sons, Joe Rozanc of Houston; Michael C. (Colleen) Rozanc of Bethal Park; eight grandchildren, Bryan Rozanc, John Lowery, Mike (Niki) Rozanc, Melissa Rozanc, Victor LiPari, Jordan and Brooke Marchitello, Meaghan Rozanc; three great-grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew and Aubrey; two sisters, Agnes (Thomas) Strang of Canonsburg; Anna Philomena (Henry) Bowers of Mt. Morris; brother, Joseph (Pat) Zadik of Chicago, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased also are two sisters, Helena Keating, Susan Robinson, and brother, John T. Zadik.
Friends are welcome on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, January 31, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Patrick Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
