Maria Ferrante, age 73 of Washington passed away Friday April 5, 2024, in Washington Hospital with her devoted sister-in-law by her side. She was born October 17, 1950, in Trenton New Jersey a daughter of the late Ralph N. and Mary Tonti Ferrante. Maria graduated from Hamilton High West class of 1968 and lived in Washington since 2001. Maria had been employed as a chef for most of her life, at Skip’s Deli in Bordentown NJ and at the American legion Post 175 in Washington, where she was also a member. She was a lifelong Roman Catholic. Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters Nicol Marie Gerber (William Whitecraft) and Jennifer Lee Gerber (the late James Mick) both of Hamilton NJ, grandchildren Rick Gerald Gerber and Jessica Marie Seidle, her sister-in-law Cathann Ferrante with whom she made her home, her cousin Mario Janaitis of Trenton NJ. and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased, in addition to her parents are her brothers Ralph Nicholas Ferrante Jr and Nicholas R.
