Margaret Ann (Murgel) Dohanich

Margaret Ann Dohanich, 83 of Cecil passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born on September 21, 1934 in Bishop to Joseph and Helen Urankar Murgel who preceded her in death.

On April 29, 1961 she married Paul Dohanich who passed away on January 7, 1990.

She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Canonsburg.

She loved to cook and bake and especially enjoyed having her family over for Friday night get togethers. She cherished many happy memories of family vacations in Myrtle Beach.

She was the last of her immediate family.

She is survived by her children Debbie Roberts (Randy) of Cecil, Rick Dohanich (Tammy) of Canonsburg and Sandee Trozzo (Paul) of McMurray, her grandchildren Brendan Roberts (fiancé’ Kelly), Lindsay Roberts, Hayley and Michael Dohanich, two great grandchildren Lily and Landon Roberts and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers Frank, Joseph and John Murgel and one sister Mary Rettinger.

Friends are welcome from 2~8 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where Parastas will be held at 2 PM. A Great Panachida Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
