Margaret “Marge” Ross

Margaret “Marge” Ross, age 87 of Cecil and Bridgeville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 26, 2024, with her beloved family by her side. She was born on July 6, 1937, in Carrick, a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Gemach Hary. Marge was a graduate of St Basil High School Class of 1955 and prior to her retirement she had been employed in sales and service with Honeywell Corporation for over 30 years. She had been a member of St. Mary’s Church in Cecil for many years before moving to the Canonsburg area. She enjoyed golfing, was a member of the Happy Hackers Golf League and played golf in 49 of the 50 states, as she loved to travel with her husband. Marge was an avid Notre Dame fan. On June 8, 1960, she married Samuel Ross, who survives after 64 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory is her beloved son, Jason Ross and his wife Nancy of Washington and her daughter Patricia Ross McCallum and her husband David of Minneapolis Minnesota, two brothers, Henry “Skip” Hary of Pittsburgh and Bobby Hary and his wife Marlena of Mt. Pleasant, her sister-in-law Ruth (Carl) Battistone of Bethel Park and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are her four sisters, Rosemarie Stecher, Charlotte Tulenko, Joan Harrington and Ruth Sieberger. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in St Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg.
