Margaret A. (Peggy) Koblarchick age 76 of Canonsburg died Monday March 26, 2012 in Canonsburg General Hospital. She was born June 9, 1935 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Chesney Koblarchick.
Miss Koblarchick lived most of her life in Canonsburg, where she graduated from Canonsburg High School class of 1952. She was a long time member of St. Genevieve Catholic Church until its closing and then a member of St. Patrick Church.
For over 30 years, she worked as a legal aid secretary for H K Porter; she also for many years volunteered at the local election polls. Miss Koblarchick enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially at her annual 4th of July picnic. She also enjoyed traveling.
Surviving is a brother, Francis "Chip" (Charlotte) Koblarchick of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a blessing service will be held at 9:30am Thursday March 29, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday in St. Patrick Church with interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.Christian Mothers and Women Guild will recite rosary at 3:00 PM in the funeral home on Wednesday. Family suggest in lieu flowers donations can be made to American Heart Association in her memory.
