Margaret E. (Johnson) Bojinski

June 11, 1927 — July 18, 2015

Margaret E. Bojinski age 88 of Muse passed away peacefully on Saturday July 18, 2015 in Canonsburg General Hospital. She was born June 11, 1927 in Canonsburg a daughter of the late William E. and Emma Jane Prescott Johnson. Mrs. Bojinski lived most of her life in Muse and was Protestant. She attended Muse school, was a 1944 graduate of Cecil High School and attended Penn Commercial Business College. After 30 years of service as a psychiatric aide at the former Mayview State Hospital in Bridgeville she retired in 1986. Mrs. Bojinski had been a member of the Golden Triangle Singles Square Dance Club, the Zodiac Bowling League was a volunteer with the Cecil Area Ambulance Service and the Canonsburg General Hospital. She had been a 2 year trustee with the Retired Public Employees, sub chapter 8402.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son William A. (Jacqueline) Bojinski of Muse, her daughter Cheryl Bashioum of Muse, Four grandchildren Cara (Brian) Baker, Aaron M. (Robert) Boardley, Faren Elizabeth and Catherine Lauren Bashioum, four great grandchildren; Owen and Morgan Baker and Lillian and Isabella Boardley and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her parents is a son William Davis Bojinski, her grandson Ryan W. “Bo” Bojinski who passed away August 26, 2007, two sisters; Velma Jordan and Dorothy Hunter and four brothers William, John, George and Harry E. Johnson.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday July 21, 2015 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor Lin Web funeral director 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 9:30am Wednesday July 22, 2015 with Dr. Stuart Broberg pastor of the Church of the Covenant officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens McMurray. The family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Bojinski’s name to the Cecil Volunteer Fire Department # 3 in Muse.
