Louise Ann Lonski, 68 of Cecil passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2107 in Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born on April 17, 1949 in Camp Campbell, Kentucky to Frank and Louise LaGrange Lonski who preceded her in death.

Ms. Lonski was a faithful member of St. Mary Parish in Cecil and served as a choir member for many years there.

She obtained her B.S. degree from the University of Maryland and her Master’s Degree in Business from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

She was a Senior Revenue Tax Auditor for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Previously, she was Director of Housekeeping and worked at many Marriott Hotels.

Ms. Lonski was passionate about traveling. She traveled extensively in Europe for educational purposes and to visit family and friends.

Her beloved cat Delilah will be cared for by family friend Marge Prozzoly.

She is survived by her cousins, Rich (Becky) Caumo of Houston, Lisa (Dennis) Perri of Meadowlands, Danny (Lisa) Caumo of Venetia, Cynthia (Eugene) DeFrank of Presto, Mary Anne (Mike) Williams of Chester, Virginia, Johnene (Jeff) Belsky of Hopewell Township, and Patti Newcombe and Jimmy Newcombe both of Richmond, Virginia. Also surviving is an aunt, Virginia Lonski of Hopewell, PA.

Friends are welcome from 6~8 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2017 and 2~4 & 6~8 pm. on Monday, May 15, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will begin at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Parish, 10 St. Mary’s Lane, Cecil, PA 15321. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.

Memorial contributions in her name will be used to carry out Ms. Lonski’s wishes
