Lois Jean Cloutman age 79 formerly of Canonsburg, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at her home in Carlisle, Pa.
She was born August 24, 1933 in Canonsburg the daughter of the late Louis and Estelle Kosharsky Cook.
Mrs. Cloutman was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg and in Carlisle, Pa. She was a graduate of Canonsburg High School class of 1951. Mrs. Cloutman worked as a telephone operator with Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and helping the needy. In addition of living in Canonsburg, she lived in Friendswood, TX. Chambersburg and Carlisle, Pa.
Surviving are two daughters, Melinda (Gerald) MacDonald of Reston, Va.; Debra (Jeffrey) Dortch of Carlisle, Pa. and four grandchildren; Mary Katharine, Jacob, Leo and Madeline.
Deceased in addition to her parents are her husband Lester N. Cloutman and her brother, Stanley B. Cook.
Friends are welcome on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
